I want to help you connect your faith to your life. This is my personal blog where that happens. My goal is to give you practical, encouraging content that will empower you to live a faith-filled life.
I believe that in order for us to do that we have to first enter into a personal relationship with the resurrected Jesus Christ, and then let that relationship define all of who we are.
This is a blog for people who want to embrace the abundant life Jesus Christ lived and died and rose again to make available.

A Brief Bio
My name is Jared. My wife’s name is Angela. We have four kids. Eden and Olivia are three. Alice and Judah are nine months. If you’re wondering…that’s two set of twins. And, yes, we were as surprised as you are!
We live in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and attend The Church on Rush Creek where I serve as campus pastor of the Handley campus.
I am a student at Dallas Theological Seminary where I am pursuing a Masters of Theology degree.
I grew up in church and was very active as a child and a pre-teen. But I pretty much walked away from the faith altogether my junior year of High School. It wasn’t until about five years later that God brought me back home through some pretty miraculous circumstances.
Since then I have been striving to integrate my reclaimed faith with my renewed life.
In my free time I like to hang out with my family, read good books, eat good food, listen to good music, watch good television and exercise.
